"Stitched Love" takes place during a counseling session between teenager, Elijah Hunter, and his adult counselor. Elijah RECOUNTS the sad story of his early life and lack of parental love. The only constant in his inconsistent life was a stuffed toy bear named Teddy. The counselor tells Elijah that he should not allow his past to dictate his future. He was loved and is lovable. Just like Teddy, a person can be stitched up, and find healing despite any trauma or hardships they may have faced.
Val Verde High School students wanted to convey the importance of self-worth and self-love through this video, as so many people are suffering with these issues. With knowledge and forgiveness, a person can move forward and lead a successful and productive life regardless of their past.
